Thank you everyone who was able to make it to Jeff’s memorial service last night. We were blown away by all of the people and all of the stories of how you knew Jeff. It would be impossible to plan a memorial that could pay tribute to such a great man, but we think last night came pretty close to doing just that. Thank you everyone who helped make it possible and who came and shared great stories.

We want to also thank members of the media who have picked up our dads story. In particular, Tom Archdeacon of the Dayton Daily News, and C. Trent Rosecrans of the Cincinnati Enquirer. To our family, this isn’t a story about a mans dying wish- our dad had his family with him all along which would have been his dying wish. To us, this is a story about an amazing family man, his faith in God, and the unbelievable baseball games he got to experience right before passing away. Seeing two no hitters and going on the field before the game were experiences that he would never have dreamed about, but God had a plan for Jeff’s final days and months. Thanks Trent and Tom for sharing our story.

  1. I’m gonna miss hearing “hey dude” every time I saw Jeff…. I hope he knows how much I looked up to him as a friend and a father….I hope I’m just half the man and father Jeff is…
