Jeff is still doing very well. He is continuing to take steroids to keep swelling down and a medication for upset stomach. He has actually stopped taking Tylenol for headaches because he hasn’t experienced any for a few days. His personality is back, his spirits are high, and he continues to put his faith in God. It is obvious to us that all of the love and prayers being sent his way are helping! Thank you all for the continued support!

In the past week we have had so many visitors and it has been such a blessing to spend time with family and friends. Pastor Bill Browning stopped in and prayed with the whole family (thank you!) and came again a few days later to find Jeff out in the neighborhood going for a stroll with his daughter and grandson. Jeff’s Aunt and Uncle from Indiana came to visit and brought along a homemade apple pie that was devoured. Lee, one of Jeff’s good friends from the men’s group at Southbrook, came by the other morning and prayed with our family. A HUGE thank you to Grandma Healy, Aunt Chrissy, May-may, and Sis for their company and several meals they have prepared for our family. Thank you to Cheryl Johnston, Debbie and Robin Chapa, Jim Rohr, Terry and Rita Brown, Mrs. Baird (your cookies are the best) and Cristen Healy for coming to visit and spend time with all of us. Again, Jeff has loved being able to see all of you and so does our family!! Thank you!

Yesterday Jeff’s oldest daughter had to move into her new place. In the past week her friends mowed the lawn and packed the entire house for her. Friends and family came out of the woodwork to help her move into the 3rd floor apartment – the whole place was unpacked in an hour! Thanks so much to all of you for your help it is greatly appreciated!

Last night Jeff and Colleen headed to a Colonel White reunion. Jeff got to see a bunch of childhood friends and share great memories – he had a blast! Tim Healy and his family, Grandma and Grandpa Healy, and Jeff’s family from Indiana are all coming back today to visit. We will post some more photos later today. Thank you all again for everything and to anyone we missed thank you soooooo much!

  3. From all of the French’s, from CA to WA to OH and on, we are thinking and praying for you, Jeff, Colleen, and all. I lit a candle at the Mission San Juan Capistrano Basilica on Sunday in your honor, Jeff. I will be in the Dayton area on July 6 & 7 and hope to see you then. While I would rather be going to the Cincinnati Reds game with you, Jeff, I will settle for watching some of the game with you. They are playing the Seattle Mariners and I look forward to watching those American League pitchers swing the bat.Love and Prayers from Patty French and the rest of the Frenches.
